The Transport Awards, now in its thirteenth year, has again recognised the hard work and outstanding success that is taking place within the freight industry at its annual awards ceremony. Organised by Transport Exchange Group, operator of the largest and fastest-growing freight exchanges within the UK and Ireland, the event recognises the previous year’s achievements amongst 3,500 courier and haulage member businesses.

Transport Awards 2015The ceremony took place at St John’s Hotel in Solihull, West Midlands, and was attended by more than 300 industry professionals from across the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe. Awards were presented across four categories, with the winners nominated and voted for by the members of Courier Exchange and Haulage Exchange in recognition of their major success and best practice in terms of customer service, operational performance and delivery:

Owner Driver of the Year (sponsored by TomTom Telematics) – Amrik Bains

European Member of the Year (sponsored by Freightlink) – Simpex Express Ltd

Company of the Year (sponsored by One Insurance Solution) – MAK Couriers Ltd
