Staff from SDC Trailers raised an outstanding £20,000 for their Charity of the Year; Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children (NICFC) by taking part in the Belfast Marathon. The local trailer manufacturer entered two relay teams from their headquarters in Toomebridge.

SDC’s Director Darren Donnelly, who took part in the Marathon said: “I have seen first-hand the excellent facilities that NICFC have to offer and I am pleased that we are able to support such a worthy charity. I’d like to thank everyone who showed their support and donated.”

The Northern Ireland Cancer fund for children offer support to children, teenagers and young adults with cancer. Last month, the NICFC opened a new therapeutic centre in the Mournes which provides families affected by childhood cancer in Northern Ireland a short break aimed to help them relax during a traumatic and challenging time.
