An innovative Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) suitable for HGVs will be unveiled at the Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham next month.

By keeping all the tyres on a vehicle at the optimum pressure, real savings can be made. Trouble is, that is easier said than done. In cab systems rely entirely on the driver to switch them on and even if the tyres are low on air the truck or van is already out of the yard by the time the driver notices.

FlashingHGVcapxxallows the driver or yard manager to accurately check tyre pressures at just a glance.

Easily fitted, locked in place, this precision bit of engineering will let you know when tyres lose just a few PSI by flashing a very bright-red light. Easily seen, even in broad daylight it lets everyone know the vehicle is wasting money and probably ruining tyres.

Designed to operate for 10 years in a hostile commercial environment, this Tyre Pressure Monitoring System costs very little, and once fitted immediately starts saving you time and money. The distributors say atruck and a trailer can be fitted out for less than £150. Then make a return on that investment for 10 years
