As part of the long-term business growth strategy for the Marshall Group, Marshall Fleet Solutions business will be relocating from its current Cambridge head office to much larger, and more modern, office premises, also within the city.

By October this year, the head office for Marshall Fleet Solutions will be based in the purpose-built office complex known as ‘The Quorum’, which is approximately 1 mile from the company’s current head office site.

Announcing details of the planned move, Mark Howell, managing director, Marshall Fleet Solutions said, “This is a very important and exciting development for MFS, which clearly demonstrates the long-term commitment and investment by the Marshall Group to the future of Marshall Fleet Solutions. It is also a natural follow on from their recent investment in a brand-new management team here at MFS at the end of 2018.”

Mark continues, “As we approach our 50th anniversary in 2022, MFS has already embarked on a period of change, by implementing an ambitious long-term growth strategy for the business. The move to this new spacious head office complex will give us a significant 40% increase in office space that will comfortably accommodate our future expansion plans.”

The Quorum is situated approximately 2.3 miles to the east of Cambridge, within the City boundary, and conveniently located only one mile from the main A14 trunk road, connecting with the M11 at Junction 14.

The Quorum already houses some of the wider Marshall Group companies and by joining them within this superb office complex, this will ensure that the company is at the heart of the Marshall business, alongside Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group and Marshall Motor Group,” added Mark Howell.

Founded in 1972 and providing premium sales, service and parts support for the UK distribution industry, Marshall Fleet Solutions is the U.K.’s largest independent refrigeration (including installation), tail lift and commercial vehicle fleet service and support organisation. In 2022, the company will be celebrating its 50th anniversary.

MFS is the longest established dealer of Thermo King equipment in the UK, as well as being main dealers for most manufacturers of tail lift sold in the UK. Currently employing over 200 engineers, together with a national call centre in operation 24hrs a day, 365 days a year, MFS offers unrivalled breakdown support, repair and routine maintenance for transport fleet operators across the UK.

Our head office relocation forms part of a series of recent breaking news announcements from our parent company, the Marshall Group, who have also confirmed their intention to relocate its world-class Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group (MADG). This is, in turn, inextricably linked to the Group putting forward its Cambridge Airport site for development as part of the next Local Plan from 2030+. All these exciting moves confirm the Marshall Group commitment to its business, its employees and to the growing city of Cambridge,” concludes Mark Howell.
