Leading UK bodybuilder Paneltex takes centre stage of the Cool Pavilion at this year’s CV Show with an impressive display confirming its diverse product portfolio and featuring a selection of vehicle bodies for the urban and home delivery markets from the various established manufacturing divisions within the company.

Paneltex urban reefer trailer at CV Show 2013Demonstrating their longstanding reputation for designing and manufacturing innovative products, Paneltex will be displaying an exciting new 9.2m urban reefer trailer, one of a large number of refrigerated trailers supplied by the company to Musgrave Retail Partners GB as part of its distribution fleet for the Londis and Budgens retail outlets.

This Paneltex single axle, rear steer trailer features a multi-compartment, multi temperature refrigerated body with a Carrier refrigeration system, and Paneltex has designed a flexible sliding interior bulkhead inside the trailer body to meet the customer’s challenging urban distribution requirements.

Refrigerated bodies designed for intensive multi-drop applications are a feature of the stand for Paneltex this year as, alongside the urban trailer, will be a 3.5t chassis cab featuring a Paneltex multi-drop refrigerated box body designed specifically for the burgeoning home delivery market.

Representing Paneltex Somers will be the latest Mercedes urban delivery refrigerated panel van that has a single compartment body converted by Somers to ATP Class C standards and featuring a GAH refrigeration system, the Somers’ patented direct air system and the Somers’ sliding freezer side door.

Completing the impressive four-vehicle line from Paneltex will be a 7.5 tonne ambient curtain sided body with aerodynamic roof system designed and manufactured by Paneltex TransLoad to save fuel.

Announcing details of their show plans, Chris Berridge, managing director of Paneltex said, “With the Cool Pavilion returning for the first time for many years, Paneltex is keen to take a prominent position that showcases its position as one of the U.K.’s leading specialist commercial vehicle bodybuilders. The product line-up chosen for the show presents visitors to the stand with an interesting selection of vehicles from our group of companies, clearly showing our diverse manufacturing capabilities, as well as our specialist bodybuilding expertise.”
