Gray & Adams will showcase its quality with a Marks & Spencer double deck trailer at this year’s exciting Temperature Controlled Storage and Distribution Show in Peterborough.
The M&S double deck trailer on stand E30 at this year’s TCS&D Show has been specially designed by Gray & Adams to serve M&S stores in the Republic of Ireland. It was first developed and manufactured in 2015 to meet the Republic of Ireland’s overall running height of 4650mm.
In order to minimise the loss of volume caused by the reduction in height, Gray & Adams has cleverly converted the neck of the trailer to take additional M&S dollies. The design has been so successful that it is to be rolled out across their fleet, where height restrictions had previously precluded the use of double deck trailers for M&S.
The trailer will also be shown in the latest eye-catching ‘Not just…’ M&S campaign livery. This batch of trailers was ordered alongside an urban double deck trailer.
As well as showcasing the industry’s latest innovations, the TCS&D Show includes free-to-attend seminars with 40 speakers across four ‘hubs’ over the two days.
In addition, the annual TCS&D Awards and dinner take place on the evening of the first day of the show. The awards recognise excellence in the perishable supply chain in a variety of categories and provide a great opportunity for networking with industry colleagues.
Joint Managing Director of Gray & Adams, Peter Gray, commented, “We look forward to showcasing this Marks & Spencer double deck trailer at the 2019 TCS&D Show which promises to be another brilliant event. We are also delighted to be shortlisted for the TCS&D Awards in four categories. As a family business with more than 60 years experience in the industry, we are hugely proud of our expert teams from design engineers to sales specialists – they are one of the reasons that our customers come back to work with us, time and again.”
