Tyre manufacturer, Goodyear is returning to the Commercial Vehicle Show for the second year running.

Goodyear_KMAX_FUELMAX_Balanced_Tires8-copyFollowing the successful launch of its new KMax and FuelMax products, their innovative stand will showcase how Goodyear works in partnership with the businesses it services to help lower their total cost of ownership.

The Goodyear KMAX range, as the name implies, has been developed for improved mileage performance, while not compromising on other important criteria such as fuel efficiency and traction. Likewise the Goodyear FUELMAX range is for the operator seeking to optimise fuel efficiency combined with good mileage.

In 2014, the FuelMax tyre achieved top ratings in tests conducted by internationally renowned automotive testing company TÜV SÜD Automotive GmbH. When comparing the rolling resistance, the FuelMax was found to save a typical fleet an estimated £1,3001 of fuel costs per vehicle, per year compared to its leading competitors. This means the Goodyear FuelMax tyres are leading in fuel savings.

The stand in 2015 will also feature Goodyear’s premium retreads TreadMax. These tyres are produced locally at Goodyear’s centre of excellence for retreading factory in Wolverhampton.

Marc Preedy, Goodyear Commercial Director UK and Ireland said: “2014 was a story of continued success for the KMax and FuelMax products in the commercial market. Since their launch Goodyear has added the fleets of Eddie Stobart, Turners of Soham, Hanson, Lloyd Fraser, Pollock Scotrans, A&D logistics as well as retaining the business of DHL, Elddis Transport, Cartwrights and Hargreaves. Simply, when you look at the fleets we have brought onboard, there is no greater endorsement in terms of the belief the leading fleets in the commercial industry have in our products and high service levels.”

Goodyear will be in Hall 5C108 at the CV Show, April 14-16
