Cannock-based EDS Couriers has increased its fleet size with the addition of four new cab units as it continues to grow its business. The new additions have been decked out in the distinctive Palletforce livery like the rest of their fleet.

“The latest vehicles in our large fleet shows we are expanding considerably to meet the increased demand from our customers. Our new trucks mean we can continue to meet the high standards expected of us, and serve our customers in the way they have come to expect,” said Andy Evans, Managing Director of EDS.

“Like the rest of our fleet, the new vehicles are all painted in the Palletforce colours as we’re proud to be members of such a high-quality distribution network.”

EDS Couriers is a family-run business established more than 50 years ago, and employs 70 staff across two sites, including its £1m 25,000 sq ft warehousing facility in Bridgtown in Cannock. It is a shareholder member of Palletforce, the UK and Europe’s leading member owned pallet network, meaning it was able to claim a share of the extra £5m dividend recently paid out to members.

“It’s great to see such a well-respected company like EDS Couriers dedicated to improving its despatch capabilities by investing in new vehicles carrying the Palletforce brand. Ensuring its customers consistently receive the best possible service at all times,” said Michael Conroy, Chief Executive of Palletforce.
