The European division of a global Commercial Vehicle components manufacturer has announced two brand new, innovative products for 2013/14, to be shown at the CV Show this April at Birmingham’s NEC: a Model 149 Light Bar and the 27 Series LED Headlamps.TLE-Brochure-1

Truck-Lite Europe Ltd. produce components – including lamps, horns, mirrors and trailer-harness-kits – for a multitude of companies: working within the Commercial Vehicle, Off-Road, Military and Trailer sectors as well as the independent aftermarket and large OEM contracts.

The Europe-wide manufacturer is excited to release their new warning signal lamp:Model 149 Light Bar. With a variety of mounting options – surface, bolted or magnetic – the bars are all EMC Reg. 10 approved and ECE Reg. 65 operational. The lamps work on dual voltage at 12V and 24V and can operate between 10V and 30V. It also has the option of either rotating halogen bulbs or LED; with a remarkable ten varying flash patterns – mode-changing possible with the click of a switch.

More, Truck-Lite will be the first European based manufacturer to offer a LED truck headlamp with the launch of the much anticipated 27 Series. These products, developed for military purposes, have been modified for the European market. With a rating of 5,800K on the ‘Uniform Chromaticity Scale’ (compared to 3,200K of many incandescent bulbs), these LED Headlamps reduce drivers’ fatigue, with their “daylight-beams”. The light released is closer to daylight than incandescent lamps and more visible (not brighter), improving target detection and reaching 50 per cent further on the roads ahead: improving stopping distances by 11 per cent.

Managing Director of Truck-Lite Europe Ltd, Aaron Rylance said: “We’re really excited to be releasing these products onto the market. The engineering and design involved is another example of Truck-Lite Europe being at the cutting edge of the ever-changing Commercial Vehicle manufacturing industry.”

Truck-Lite will be showing the light-bar and headlamps, along with other product ranges on stand 4K10 at the CV Show from 9 to 11 April 2013. They will also be releasing their 2013/14 catalogue and launching their brand new website.
