Following the recent opening of Burnt Tree’s brand new vehicle rental and contract hire branch in Southampton, the company has swooped and secured an 18 vehicle long-term rental deal with local company Kestrel Guards.

Burnt Tree Kestrel Guards HiRes 06.14The three-year deal covers a complete fleet replacement programme for Kestrel Guards and includes the supply of 15 Ford Fiesta and 3 Peugeot Partner vans. These have now all gone into service with the Southampton-based company, providing mobile patrol, key holding and alarm response services to customers across the South and South West of England, from West Sussex right across to Cornwall.

Commenting on the deal, James Matthews, director at Kestrel Guards said, “During the negotiations, Burnt Tree provided us with a tailored solution to our fleet requirements, including essential support out of hours. This is key for us as the majority of our security work is done during the night, so we needed full reassurance that they would be able to support us at all times of the day and night.”

The majority of the vehicles are now based out of Kestrel’s head office in Southampton, although there will be three of the 18 strong vehicle fleet based at the company’s branch in Redruth, Cornwall.

“Another significant advantage of working with Burnt Tree has been their flexibility to our requirements whenever we have been in need of additional short-term vehicles to supplement our fleet and this has really impressed us,” commented James Matthews.

Burnt Tree is the UK’s largest independent commercial vehicle rental and contract hire company and the company opened its Southampton branch in March this year. Based on a 1 acre site on Millbank Street in Southampton, this Burnt Tree branch is one of the largest of the company’s 21 locations nationwide and Burnt Tree has ambitious plans for the branch by developing a strong vehicle rental presence across the Solent region during 2014.

Burnt Tree is the UK’s largest independent commercial vehicle rental and contract hire company, offering the most diverse range of vehicles in the industry, all backed by flexible products that put its customers in control. The company operates a 17,300-strong fleet out of national branch network located throughout England, Scotland and Wales.
